Working for the National Trust (October 2008)
Morag had some spare holiday time so volunteered for a National Trust for Scotland working holiday for a week in Perthshire.
Their minibus took the volunteers from Edinburgh to the hostel near Dunkeld. There were about 10 volunteers altogether. The week was spent working on clearing unwanted trees, improving drainage, repairing footpaths, stuff like that…. and then when they got home after a day’s work – they had to cook their own communal dinner.
There was a day-off when Morag and a few others took the opportunity to climb Schiehallion
Here are photos from the NT week in Perthshire.
