A trip across the border

We started with a short breal to a very posh hotel near Leeds, no we haven’t won the lottery, Morag got a great deal over the net. Here we visited the Gration family in Leeds and said “My hasn’t he grown” about both their sons, Matthew and Robert.

After Leeds we went down to Norfolk, with a quick stop in the village of “Holt”, then to Reedham to visit the George family, who were in the middle of the stressful business of trying to buy a micro-brewery, the “Humpty Dumpty Brewery”.

Then to London to visit Maree, Kevin and Ben first of all, then over the Peter and Dagmar’s very centrally located apartment, which has a great view around the London Eye / Thamesbank area.

On the way back North we stopped at Borrowdale in the Lake District, which was a great little break. We walked along Derwent Water and Morag visited the pencil museum in Keswick. This is a truly beautiful place.

Here is our photo album from the trip.
