Mal’s Ancestors – Holt side of the family

I’ve recently started to research my father’s family. This is what I’ve found so far.

This report starts with my father and goes backwards in time, it shows the direct ancestors of each generation (no siblings).
Each individual is numbered, to find the parents of any person, just multiply their number by two and look into the next generation. To come forwards in time and find the child of any person, divide that person’s number by 2 (if it’s an odd-number subtract 1 first).

Education Willow Grove Primary School. Religion Church Of England.
He married Edna Frances CAMERON, 14 Nov 1942 in North Carlton Presbyterian Church, Vic. Australia.

Second Generation
2. Henry Herbert (Harry) HOLT.
Born 4 Apr 1884 in Warragul, Victoria.
Died 3 Jul 1958. Occupation Forester, Bridge Builder, Shopkeeper.
He married Ethel Harriet STRATTON, 1908 in Moe, Victoria, Australia.
3. Ethel Harriet STRATTON.
Born 15 Nov 1887 in Lilydale, Victoria.
Died Aug 1977 in Moe, Victoria.

Third Generation

He married Prudence WHITMORE, 19 Aug 1875 in Melbourne, Australia.

Died 11 Dec 1887 in Lilydale, Victoria. Occupation Convict, Shopkeeper, Farmer.
